The personal information we collect depends on how you interact with Her Long Game. We may collect:

• your name
• your email address
• your phone number, if you choose to provide it
• information you provide when joining our waitlist or signing up to updates
• information you provide when downloading a resource or purchasing a product
• survey responses, feedback or messages you choose to send us
• website usage information, such as pages visited, links clicked and general analytics data
• technical information, such as browser type, device information, IP address and general location data
• app account and usage information, as described in the Her Long Game app section below

We only collect information that is reasonably necessary for our business activities.

We collect personal information when you:

• visit our website
• join our waitlist
• subscribe to our emails
• download a free resource
• purchase a product or service
• complete a form or survey
• contact us by email, website, social media or another channel
• interact with our content, emails or digital tools
• create an account and use the Her Long Game app

Email marketing

If you join our waitlist, download a resource, purchase from us or sign up to receive updates, we may send you emails about Her Long Game, including education, product updates, offers and launch information.

You can unsubscribe at any time by using the unsubscribe link in our emails or contacting us through our contact form.

Cookies and analytics

We may use cookies and similar technologies to help our website work properly, understand how people use our website and improve Her Long Game.

Cookies may collect information such as your browser type, device information, IP address, pages visited, links clicked and time spent on the website. You can usually disable cookies through your browser settings. Some parts of the website may not work properly if cookies are disabled.

Specifically, we currently use:

Google Analytics 4. Measures how people find and use the website (pages visited, approximate location, device type). Google may set cookies and process this data on servers outside Australia. You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

Meta Pixel. Used on some pages (such as our quiz) to measure whether our ads on Meta platforms (Facebook and Instagram) lead to visits, and to show relevant ads to people who have visited. Meta may associate this data with your Meta account. You can manage this in your Meta ad preferences.

Mailchimp. When you join the waitlist or receive a quiz result, your name, email address and quiz answer category are stored with Mailchimp (our email provider, based in the United States) so we can send you the emails you asked for. Every email includes an unsubscribe link.

Where this information identifies you, or could reasonably identify you, we treat it as personal information.

Payment information

If you purchase a product or service from Her Long Game, payment information may be collected and processed by a third-party payment provider. We do not store your full payment card details. Payment providers handle payment information in accordance with their own privacy and security practices.

Her Long Game app

When you use the Her Long Game app, we collect and store additional personal information to provide the app experience. All app data is stored on servers located in Australia (Sydney).

Account information

To use the app, you create an account. We collect and store your display name, email address and a secured, encrypted password credential. We also record when your account was created and when you last signed in.

We use this information to create and manage your account, authenticate your access, personalise your experience and communicate with you about your account.

Emotional baseline and current state

As part of your onboarding and ongoing experience, the app may ask you to describe your current emotional relationship with money. We store an emotional baseline recorded when you join, and an emotional current state updated as you progress.

We use this information to personalise your experience, track your progress and, in de-identified form, to understand how Her Long Game affects the women who use it over time. This information is sensitive. We do not share it with third parties in identifiable form.

Financial Wellbeing Diagnostic

The app includes a Financial Wellbeing Diagnostic, which you complete during onboarding and may repeat as you progress. Your responses are used to calculate a score and assign an archetype that reflects your current financial starting point.

We store your diagnostic score, archetype and completion status against your account. We do not store your individual question responses against your account.

We may collect anonymised, de-identified diagnostic data for research and product improvement. This data cannot be linked back to you as an individual and is not personal information.

Lesson progress and in-lesson responses

We store your progress through Her Long Game lessons and modules, including which lessons you have started and completed, your current position within lessons and the timestamps of your activity.

Some lessons invite you to reflect and write a personal response as part of the learning experience. Where you choose to write a response, we store that response against your account and progress record. These responses are personal reflections you have chosen to record. They are not shared with other users or third parties in identifiable form.

We use lesson progress and response data to personalise your experience, enable you to resume where you left off and improve our content over time.

Her Perspective

The app includes a Her Perspective feature where you can record personal reflections prompted by lesson content. Where you choose to write a note, we store the prompt, your response and the date it was created against your account.

Her Perspective are personal. They are not shared with other users or third parties in identifiable form. You can request deletion of your Her Perspective at any time through our contact form.

Her Tools

The app includes financial education tools and calculators. Where you use a tool, we store your inputs and the calculated result against your account so you can return to and review your previous work.

Tool inputs and outputs are stored for your personal use only. They are not shared with other users or third parties in identifiable form. These tools are provided for educational purposes only and do not constitute personal financial advice.

Her Direction

The app allows you to set and track financial goals. Where you create a goal, we store the goal label, type, target date, target amount and progress status against your account. Goal data is stored for your personal use only and is not shared with other users or third parties in identifiable form.

Her Bookmarks

You may bookmark lessons, tools or content within the app. We store your bookmarks and any associated notes against your account so you can return to content you have saved.

Passed On: community wisdom

Some lessons invite you to share an insight or piece of wisdom that you would pass on to the next woman. Where you choose to submit a Passed On insight, we store the insight text, your first name and your emotional baseline.

Passed On insights that you submit may be displayed to other Her Long Game users as part of the community wisdom experience within the app. By submitting a Passed On insight, you consent to it being displayed in this way. Your first name may appear alongside your insight.

If you wish to have a Passed On submission removed, use our contact form.

Who we share your information with

We may share personal information with trusted third parties who help us operate Her Long Game, including:

• website hosting providers
• app database infrastructure providers (Supabase, Australia)
• email marketing platforms
• analytics providers
• payment processors
• customer support or business administration tools
• contractors or service providers who help us run the business
• professional advisers, such as lawyers, accountants or insurers
• regulators, government agencies or law enforcement where required by law

We only share information where reasonably necessary for our business, where you have consented, or where the law allows or requires us to do so.

Overseas disclosure

Some of the tools and service providers we use store or process information outside Australia. This may include email marketing platforms and analytics providers. Our app database and authentication infrastructure is hosted in Australia (Sydney) by Supabase.

Where we disclose personal information overseas, we take reasonable steps to ensure it is handled appropriately and consistently with applicable Australian privacy laws.

How we protect your information

We take reasonable steps to protect your personal information from misuse, interference, loss, unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. These steps may include:

• secure website and app hosting
• encrypted password storage
• limited access to business systems
• use of trusted service providers
• security settings and access controls
• deleting or de-identifying information when we no longer need it

No method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. However, we take privacy and security seriously.

How long we keep your information

We keep personal information for as long as we need it for the purposes outlined in this policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law. When we no longer need personal information, we will take reasonable steps to delete it or de-identify it.

Accessing, correcting or deleting your information

You can contact us to request access to the personal information we hold about you. You can also ask us to correct information that is inaccurate, out of date, incomplete or misleading.

You may request that we delete your personal information. Where we can, we will delete or de-identify it. In some cases, we may need to retain certain information for legal, accounting, tax, dispute resolution or legitimate business purposes.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time as Her Long Game grows, our services change or legal requirements change. When we update this policy, we will change the date at the top of the page.
